MoU with the Government of Gujarat

Advaya E-Waste Management signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat at an industry-recognition programme held in Patan — part of a wider state initiative to strengthen ties with industries operating in the region and encourage responsible, organised growth in the sector.

Hon’ble MLA Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma attended the programme to recognise the contribution of Patan’s local industries. During the event, Advaya was presented with an Appreciation Certificate for its work in sustainable e-waste management — spanning responsible collection, segregation, channelisation and environmentally sound recycling.

The certificate recognised organised, compliant collection and recycling — not output alone.

The interaction gave Advaya an opportunity to present its ongoing work and commitment to sustainable e-waste management to state representatives, who in turn reaffirmed continued government support and cooperation for industries building formal recycling capacity in Gujarat.

Advaya at Vibrant Gujarat — Exhibition Stall

Advaya E-Waste Management participated in Vibrant Gujarat with an allotted exhibition stall, showcasing its work in sustainable e-waste recycling and zero-waste-discharge processing to visitors, industry delegates and prospective partners.

The stall gave the Advaya team an opportunity to walk visitors through its certified collection, segregation and recycling processes, and to connect with businesses and institutions exploring formal, compliant e-waste management solutions.

MoU with Ganpat University for E-Waste Collection

Oct 2025 Kherva, Mehsana, Gujarat

Advaya E-Waste Management signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ganpat University in October 2025 for organised, campus-wide e-waste collection.

The partnership gives the university a structured channel to responsibly dispose of electronic waste generated across its departments, labs and hostels — in line with Advaya’s commitment to compliant, zero-waste-discharge recycling.

E-Waste Awareness Programme & MoU with DCIS

Sep 2, 2026 Adalaj, Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Advaya E-Waste Management conducted an e-waste awareness programme at Divine Child International School (DCIS), engaging students and staff on the environmental and health risks of improper electronic waste disposal.

As part of the initiative, Advaya signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DCIS to support responsible e-waste management on campus — formalising a channel for collection and certified recycling.

Why this matters

Recognition like this sits inside a bigger regulatory push toward formal, accountable e-waste management in India:

India’s E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022

In force since 1 April 2023, producers must now recycle 60% of their estimated e-waste generation each year, across 106 equipment categories. Large organisations can only route their e-waste to CPCB-registered recyclers, who alone can issue the kilogram-denominated EPR certificates that producers trade to prove compliance.

Gujarat’s own e-waste ecosystem

Gujarat ranks 6th nationally for e-waste collection, with 40 GPCB-authorised dismantlers and recyclers in the state. By rule, e-waste generated in Gujarat can only be disposed of through a GPCB-registered recycler — the framework this kind of state recognition sits within.
